Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for ecommerce training

This GA4 training course is specially designed for e-commerce, traffic acquisition, merchandising, CRM and UX/Conversion teams. By the end of this course, you’ll have mastered the fundamentals of GA4 and will be able to analyze the performance of your ecommerce site.

Modules objectives

Discover the fundamentals of GA4 and the world of Digital Analytics.
Learn essential key concepts (users, sessions, bounce rate, conversion rate, incentives to action, etc.) applied to GA4.
Practical application of knowledge through the use of standard reports and the creation of customized reports with “Explorer”.
– Awareness of crucial data collection principles and issues.

Target audience

Ecommerce, acquisition, merchandising, CRO, UX and CRM teams wishing to progress with the use of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and analyze the performance of their ecommerce platforms.

Prerequisites

For the basic modules, a good knowledge of the web and emarketing is required, validated by taking a quiz before the course.For other modules, the prerequisite is the level of a previous module, validated by a quiz.

Module 2: Google Analytics 4 – Data visualization

Level: Beginner | Duration: 2h

Learn how to use the new reports and best practices in the GA4 interface.

Objectives:
1. Introduce the new reports of GA4
2. Get to grips with the new GA4 interface
3. Identify the main modes of visualization in relation to the needs

Module 3: Google Analytics 4 – Explorer & segmentation

Level: Intermediate | Duration: 2h

Learn how to get to grips with the new “Explorer” analysis module with segmentation functionality

Objectives:
1. Understand segmentation concepts
2. Get to grips with the ‘Explorer’ functionality
3. Identify the main analysis cases to meet your needs

Module 4: Google Analytics 4 – Key analytics & using Looker Studio

Level: Intermediate | Duration: 2h

Take your ecommerce site analysis a step further with Looker Studio.

Objectives:
1. Present the key analyses to be conducted for an ecommerce site using GA4
2. Get to grips with the Looker Studio interface for analyses with GA4
3. Identify the main analyses corresponding to your needs

Module 5: Google Analytics 4 – Data collection

Level: Advanced | Duration: 2h

Understand how data collection works in GA4 to improve the relevance of your analyses.

Objectives:
1. Understand the main modes of data collection in GA4
2. Analyze existing tagging
3. Identify the main cases of data collection to meet analysis needs

Module 6: Google Analytics 4 – Configuration

Level: Advanced | Duration: 2h

Take control of your GA4 account configuration to ensure regulatory compliance and improve the quality of the data you collect.

Objectives:
1. Understand the main configuration issues with GA4
2. Take control of the configuration interface
3. Identify the main use cases of the configuration to meet analysis needs

Our teaching methods

Our 2-hour modules are designed to maximize participants’ concentration and commitment. Thanks to real-life case studies and the confidential use of your own data, you’ll easily assimilate the concepts covered. Our approach is pragmatic: we share best practices and concrete avenues of analysis.

Learning assessment

A multiple-choice questionnaire is sent to all participants at the end of each training module. A score of at least 70% is required to validate learning and move on to the next module. A training certificate is sent to each participant for the completed modules once the training is finished.

We identify the constraints linked to the disabled situation (accessibility of premises, equipment, mobility, compatibility with the training course, timetables, pace…) and assess the specific needs to adapt the training courses.
